Exploring Science did not meet last week due to inclement weather, but will definitely meet this week for its final session.

Please join us on Thursday March 2nd for a really good movie about the Mt. St. Helens eruption. Mt. St. Helens is a composite. This eruption is a prime example of what can happen in composite volcano eruptions. AND the many volcanoes in Oregon and Washington which are composite volcanoes (also in California, British Columbia, and Alaska).

Karen will bring volcanic lava samples and Mt. Vesuvius artifacts for viewing.
